DSPECIALISTS developed an integrated condition monitoring system COMOS consisting of software and hardware based on ISTec's calculations that is used for monitoring power plant technology, rail transport, wind power stations, machines, boilers, pipelines, and bottling plants. DSPECIALISTS entered serial production for the complex measurement system.

Since 2003 DSPECIALISTS and ISTec have worked in a very close collaboration under which the measurement system is continuously improved and new product versions created.

ISTec GmbH was founded in 1992 as a subsidiary of the Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (Society for plant and reactor safety) and has belonged to the independent testing service provider TÜV Rheinland since 2014.

The company is one of the leading providers of diagnostic and safety technology and it's client list includes plant construction companies, power plant operators, manufacturing industry, public transportation services, technical safety organisations and relevant authorities.
