HARVEY® Composer and Firmware Version 4.2.0
The new version of the configuration software includes a new Logic-To-Alarm block for user-defined alarm messages on the HARVEY device display.
With the new HARVEY Composer and firmware release 4.2.0, the software library has been expanded to include the new Logic-To-Alarm Block. The Logic-To-Alarm Block enables the display of user-defined alarm messages on the device display. This can also be done depending on any logic states in a project.
Classic use cases are the display in the event of failed communication with a third-party device or monitoring of a pilot tone, but also when a higher-level controller triggers an alarm status, for example a fire alarm system. As soon as there are alarm messages, the device's display saver will show an alarm icon in future.
As part of the update, other device statuses have also been added to the alarm messages, which indicate that the device is currently not ready for operation. These include, for example, the global mute state, which is automatically active after loading projects and must be deliberately deactivated by the installer.
