DSPECIALISTS announced a new software release with significant improvements for the upmix unit ISOSTEM. Most of the broadcasting companies strive for compliance with standardized program loudness by the European Broadcast Union (EBU). The ISOSTEM product family with its new software release takes these needs into account.

The Bikini-Haus is a landmarked office building from the 50ies in Berlin‘s City West which has been transformed into a shopping mall with various eateries and alternating events. The audio and media control matrix HARVEY mx.16 from DSPECIALISTS provides the excellent sound there for the permanently available PA system with a DJ position. This project was carried out by the Berlin office of Salzbrenner Stagetec Audio Video Mediensysteme in cooperation with DSPECIALISTS and L’Acoustics.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place from 6th June to 5th July 2015 in Canada. This major sporting event will be broadcasted in German Television by ARD and ZDF in Surround 5.1. The content produced in stereo will be upmixed to 5.1 by ISOSTEM. The quality of the upmix signal as well as the downmix compatibility were the key factors in the decision for ISOSTEM as upmix system. The downmix compatibility guarantees in the downmix a stereo signal that is mathematically 100% compatible to the input signal.
