HARVEY mx.16 becomes network capable

DSPECIALISTS has announced at the IBC in Amsterdam that the audio and media control matrix HARVEY mx.16 will be extended by the network capability feature.

Several HARVEY units can be connected via Ethernet and can exchange control data between the units. A version equipped with a Cobranet module is also available, which enables the exchange of audio data. While DSPECIALISTS is initially focusing on Cobranet, other network standards will be supported in the future.

In addition to 16 analog inputs and outputs, the network-capable HARVEY mx.16 offers 16 digital inputs and outputs. This means the matrix offers 32 input channels and 32 output channels for audio processing. The mx.16 can be connected to further units of the matrix or to other Cobranet-capable external devices.

The feature is set to be available in the fourth quarter of 2012.
